Aditya-L1 is India’s first dedicated solar mission, developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Positioned at the Sun–Earth L1 Lagrange point, about 1.5 million km from Earth, the spacecraft enjoys an uninterrupted view of the Sun—free from eclipses or atmospheric distortion. This strategic location allows continuous monitoring of solar activity that can affect Earth’s space environment.
